We engrave every pumpkin ourselves
Hershey Porch Pumpkins is two people: me and my dad, Doug. We run Quittie Hollow, a custom product and engraving workshop in Annville, and that workshop is the whole company.

I was the kid who was better with my hands than I was with a book. Hand me a pocket knife and a couple of acres and nobody saw me for a few hours. I came back with a spear, a stick, and half a bow.
Three things stuck from that and never came unstuck: working with my hands, being outside, and living and loving life in Central Pennsylvania. So I studied manufacturing engineering, because it was the closest thing school had to making things. Then I spent a few years in the Poconos as an outdoor guide, walking people up trails and out onto trout water, because it kept me outdoors. Then I came home, because home’s where the heart is.
My dad and my grandfather built the workshop we’re based out of on our family property. With Hershey Porch Pumpkins, I’m trying to honor the Reese family legacy, one pumpkin and porch at a time.
I’ve been engraving pumpkins for family, friends, and local businesses since 2020. Now I’m taking my love of the spooky season and turning it into a way to bring fall festivities to porches across the Susquehanna Valley.
We’re engraving products in our workshop most days. From Yeti tumblers to custom wood products. We’ve done this work for businesses across the state. But pumpkins hold a special place in my heart. Because a name burned into a pumpkin on your steps is such an eye-grabber.
